Please advise:

I used only 5 semesters (around 20 months) to finish a two-year master program in a public institute.

Am I eligible for the three years' work permit after post graduation?

Thanks a lot!

Yes, a 2 year program is considered to be 4 semesters so you are eligible for a 3 year work permit.

Thank you soooooooo much!!

I have one more question:

One of my friend submitted her application for post-graduation work permit on line on around 11 August. Today she just noticed that she forgot to attach a very important letter on her application. This letter is from her educational institution and may very likely influence the duration of the work permit she gets.

The question is: how can she notify CIC of the situation, and where can she send the letter to?

Thanks again for your time and kindly help!!
