2 Year working holiday permit and lost passport

Hello there, as the titles says I am currently in Canada on a 2 year working holiday permit but have lost my passport. I have sent off for a new passport.

As I understand the work permit is tied to my old passport so what are the steps I need to take next?

The work permit is not tied to your passport. You don't need to do anything.
