2 Year Experience but Issue with Education Evaluation

Hi All !

I came to Canada via ICT and am employed / working since 2014. I recently started the PR application process and sent my Degree Certificates to WES to evaluate. I am from India and unfortunately my university is an Open ( Autonomous ) one and hence WES refused to provide equivalency. ICAS did the same.

The CIC website says that There is No Education Requirement. I am in a fix. Will my case be valid ? I have over 12 years of IT experience and am really keen on PR. Due to my work permit, i cannot take admission in Canadian University to get recognized certificate / degree.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

I forgot to add that my job is in NOC A

If you are eligible under the CEC class, the ECA is optional, however, you won't get the points for your education. If you qualify and get enough points for an ITA without the ECA, however, it won't matter.
