Hi everyone,

One form of relationship proofs that my future wife and I will submit is our Skype chat logs.

I have 2 Skype accounts.....one is my personal account, the other one I use to talk with people from work (although it has personal contacts as well).

I use both accounts all the time........no pattern, really.....totally random.....

If I submit the chat and call logs from both accounts, would it confuse the CIC? Do you think they might doubt whether one account is really mine?

HI fandv

If you are using windows .. you should download skype view software .. just google it ..
it will show you all call history(incoming, outgoing, missed calls) also for the selected person as well
also include screen captures of skype (just take few print outs)

Note: Only send chat logs and call logs of you n ur wife.

I took same thing with me to interview and immigration officer was happy with it ...
if you need help .. let me know

Thanks

Thanks for the tips, Fhaider.

Well that's not really what I asked though. I wasn't asking how to generate Skype chat logs...

My question was whether my having 2 different Skype accounts could cause confusions/doubts/suspicions on the immigration officer's end...... :)

I don't think it would, just provide an explanation/evidence showing that they're both yours.

When I applied, I had used 2 email accounts to contact my husband, and we showed emails from both. It seemed to go fine.

To add to this:
Many people have multiple emails/phones/IM handles/skypes/etc. The two of us can't be unique in having, say, a work email/phone and also a personal email/phone and contacting our spouse using both, they probably see it all the time :)

Well the display name one account contains my first name. The display name of the other account (the personal account) is my first and last name, in one word.

Hope that's sufficient proof that they're mine?!

Like Isometry explained, just provide a cover letter explaining your 2 accounts.
If you want to make it even easier for them to understand your chat logs, aside from the cover letter, You can highlight your messages, your spouses messages, and your alternate account messages ( assuming they are all compiled together ), and provide some kind of legend.

This should eliminate any confusion
