2 references for passport - friend and his wife ?

Hi guys,

Very simple question but want to clear any doubt before going ahead.

I know the conditions for guarantor and references.

Question is ... can i have my friend and his wife as 2 references ?? I was thinking this to be an easy option and i know both of them very well for years.

Please advise.

Yes they its not as issue. You may know both of them, it doesn’t matter what is their relationship.
