2 questions - border crossing & proof of relationship

Hey guys. As per usual I am hoping for advice, haha.

I am Canadian, Husband is American. We are going to submit once all documents come in the mail. Applying Outland.

1. What should we say when crossing the border to visit each other now that we're married? We ran into no issues when we were saying fiance, but we're worried they're going to get silly/think we're staying if we say we're visiting our wife/husband. Experiences?

2. I thought about including the receipt for the engagement ring I proposed to my husband with, but the date of purchase is Oct 2014 and we got engaged in July 2015. The discrepancy is because he said he wasn't ready the first time (lawl). I don't know if I should still include that as that story may not inspire confidence?

Border crossings were even easier after we got married. They seem to ask less questions now. we always say purpose of travel is to visit spouse.
I did not include receipts for rings as we too got them at different times. We bought my engagement ring a year after proposal and bought his wedding ring months before the wedding and my wedding ring months after the wedding. There is plenty of ongoing relationship proof without mentioning rings.

Okay. I just want to make sure I have enough proof.. I only have 25 photos. We don't have a lot of photos of the two of us that arent just random selfies without context.

I have been in Canada almost two years, I am Canadian Hubby is American. He drives up most weekends, sometimes they ask more questions than others. It will probably be even easier once we have a case number to give them. We submitted his application this month. We have been married 28 years so hopefully it will go quickly thru.

My wife visited me while her outland application was in process. She took a plane and told the border official she was here to visit her husband. The official asked how long she will be visiting and she replied 1 week. She had printed out her flight itinerary in case they asked her but the officer didn't ask for any evidence and just let her in.
