Hi..My fiance is a principal applicant as well as his Mother and they are about to land in Canada (Regina) this week as a family. Since they are bringing canadian dollars, would the CAD 10,000 suffice for them or my fiance should also bring a separate CAD 10,000.? And is it taxable by any chance? Thank you for your answers!

A little confused . Two people arriving in Canada and bring $20,000.00 between them .If so that is fine . If they are bring any more than $10,000.00 they must declare it on the custom sheets when arriving. They are not subject to tax.
