2 IELTS concurrent results -Acad and GT

Can I sit for two different IELTS for different purpose?
Can I hold the two results without forfeiting the other?

I have taken the Acad with favourable result but wanted to take the GT this month as well.

Yes, you can. I gave the academic in August 2020 and the General in October 2020. Because the purpose of each test is different, you don't have to forfeit any scores.
