1st PR car: process time and possible to put different state address

Hello,

I just got the COPR (Ontario) and would like to know once I arrive in Canada, how long does it take to receive the PR card?
As well, I will put a friend's address in Ontario, but is it possible to change it if I have to, to a family address but in Quebec?

Current processing time is quoted as 10 days:

BIUT, add to this a few days for your paperwork to be forwarded to Sydney and a few more days to get to you in the mail. All in all, assume about 1 month I suppose (assuming they don't have additional requirements, they have been known to ask for new photos).

I wouldn't risk changing your address (although you can) mid-stream as they may or may not get the address change in time. I would stick with one address if you possibly can - this is a pretty vital document.
