Hello,

My 19 year old daughter has been accepted to Candian universities and she is looking forward to attending one this fall. She has never worked anywhere before. She just graduated high school and this will be her first time going to Canada.

I wanted to inquire about getting her a PR card. My inquiry is whether she will be able to apply for a PR status DURING her undergraduate study. Will she qualify for any of the express entry programs

If yes, will I get college tuition benefits like reduced tuition fees and government benefits since citizens of Canada are eligible domestic tuition?

Thank you.

Firstly, benefits like low tution fees and other government services are available only to Citizens of Canada. PR card will not provide you these benefits....and your daughter should first go on study visa...she is not qualified for pr card yet...or any other express entry program...only way for ger is to apply for study visa...study their...get a work permit after completing studies...then get a good job...earn points and then apply for pr...

No - she will not qualify to apply for PR during her studies.

Incorrect on the first point. PRs qualify for exactly the same tuition rates and government benefits as Canadian citizens.
