Dreams123,

To get 5 points in listening you need to score 7.5

You can check this information here: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

amsmmb,

Are you applying for FSW?
If this is the case, I'm afraid you'll have to do the test again.
You have to score at least 6 in each one of the four tests.

No it is not yet posted online, i suppose that would be on 3rd Aug. Before starting the test, they distributed an SMS request form to receive the results through sms, before the test is announced on website.

I was very much worried about speaking but it turned out just fine ;)

All the best!
Hi Maverick, did you appear for IELTS through British Council and where was your test centre. I appeared from Hyderabad Pakistan and have not received my result via Pull sms system. In return of my sms to 3040, I got a reply sms that I am not authorized to get the result from this mobile no. and I have to send sms from the registered mobile no. It is the same mobile no. which I wrote it in the registration form and I also got venue details at the same mobile no. from british council.

I have taken IELTS (GT) exam on 19th July 2014. Got overall bandscore of 6.
I want to retake the IELTS exam. Is there any time gap (of mandatory 3 months) should be maintained between 2 IELTS (GT) exams. I have read in few sites that a time gap of 3 months should be maintained between 2 IELTS attempts.

I want to retake the exam as soon as possible.
Please advice.

To my knowledge, there is no required time gap between tests. You can take the test as early as you can.

Yes i agree, there is no such gap but if you have given through British council, you could try IDP instead. It is easier to get closer dates in IDP.
