15 Months passed and no news about my CEC PR yet

Hi guys,
thanks for stopping by .. I need some advise and it would really help make my day is bit more easy than the current stress im going thru.

I applied for CEC PR in Feb 2013 and until today didnt receive any update or news whatsoever. I have constantly been emailing CPC_ottawa guys once a month since Jan 2014 ... and their reply was always standard saying app is in process and thanks for my patience.
I emailed them again on May 27th and they came back to me today with the below reply which had more than their standard reply. Now what worries me is the line where it says docs should not expire within 6 months .. r they trying to give me a hint about a doc that has expired and that i need to resubmit it again .. only doc that comes to my mind is the PCC from my home country .. it would have easily expired by now.

Or is it just a standard line they normally put in emails about documents expiring?

PLS HELP ME SOLVE THIS PUZZLE .

Probably a reference to passports. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months when your PR is finalized. You should not read anything into this.

My suggestion - quit pestering the VOs, they can't tell you anything, and you're keeping them from processing applications! Request your GCMS notes if you want to see what is going on.

Jes_ON . my passport doesnt expire until May 2015.

Cec_Nov .. i did order my GCMS notes back in jan and received it in feb .. all it said was no further docs required at this time and security checks in process

then nothing to but wait... depends on where you're from, what (and how many) countries you've lived in, how long the security check takes.

13 months is the Standard time to process a CEC PR application if its taking more that that you can connect with your local MP.

They can check or expedite your application.

I went to the local MP .. but he was similar to USELESS .. lol

This is strangest timeline I have seen. You certainly need to apply for GCMS notes and then raise your voice Legally. FYI, mine CEC application got completed in 7.5 months.

Sorry i forgot to mention this ... when i applied for PR back in Feb 2013, I also added my wife onto my application.
Does this hinder the standard process of 13 months ?

I don't understand... You applied for you and your wife, or you applied as single, and then after you applied, you added your wife?

Yes my wife and I at once on the same application... so when I applied for it my wife was included in my application.. (not the other way round where I apply as the principle and then add her later)

Wasn't there a complication with proving your job duties to your chosen NOC code?

Yes the gcms notes said so for January but I spoke to a lawyer friend who said that was the first eye check and the second vo would have already reviewed it long back and rejected it...but there's no news so far
