Can anyone explain to me why me and my wife are waiting for 15 months (sponsoring a spouse) so far so we can live together in Canada where I lived for the last 14 years although medical exams where done 10 months ago.
Recently I decide to leave Canada, my job and my big family and stay with my wife (till who knows when) until the process is done. That’s insane.

As a PR, you're required to be in Canada to sponsor a spouse. So by leaving, you could make the process longer or even have it refused.

I'd suggest you order gcms notes and contact your MP.

Yes but that is FAR from actual processing time. Some people get inland in 5 months
yes some people get it within 6 months. some people dont even get it within a year.
I know in my case it will be 6 months as we have a newborn- which is pretty obvious can not be fake
