Wow! Good job guy, you did well to write all the answers. I can't write this much. Listening was really good this time and reading was very easy for as well maybe bcos I do well with reading n comprehension but man! the writing was somehow, I spent too much time on the first task so I'm not sure I wrote up to 250 words in the second task. I still hope for the best though. Good luck to everyone.
I wrote the answers right after the exam and most of it was "one word" , very easy to remember. I had difficulty in reading: they asked questions 26 - 33 from the last paragraph, that was very surprising and unusual!
I spent lot of time reading 3 long paragraphs trying to find answers until I realized that I need to read the last paragraph. Then they asked questions 34-40 from the previous paragraphs!!

The text about ants was straight forward.

I agree , but it was unusual for them to ask the questions not in order , I did fairly well and got all the answers eventually , but lost some time as I read somewhere that the questions must be in order!

This happened to me as well this time dont know why. The sentence matching to para in my reading test there was only one para which was having 3 sentence matched. I was looking for 1:1 and took long time to sort it out.

That's a normal practice when blocks of questions related to different places of a text. For example, it's very often when we don't start from the beginning, and questions related to the first paragraph may appear in the end (35-40).
It's always important to quickly recognize where in the text you should start finding answers for a block of questions.

It would be unusual if the questions from one block were not in order (though I've seen that situation in one of the tests which are accessible from British Council after registration. There was a text about hiking in the woods and it was asked if it allowed to feed birds or animals, and it was not mentioned in the relevant place of the text (NG), however it was mentioned at the end of the text).

Anyone taking ielts in US May 13?

Writing: 1 - Friend's teenage son comes to visit you but you could not accommodate him. Write email saying sorry/explain why/ suggestion a solution
2 - home design with private yard/garden/balcony, advantages outweigh disadvantages?

Speaking: topic 2 - talking about swimming pool: where/who comes there...

Listening ok, reading bit stuck for the last section, it was tough

As far as I remember. He was saying something like "they only provided names not the phone numbers". This is not irrelevant, should be 'too little info'.

Definitely, there were two "C" (irrelevant info), but I can't remember the order.

Any answers from Reading?
