I have a valid WP and used online TRV application. Haven't received any correspondence ever since I submitted my application on March 10. Looks like processing time for my application would be about a month. Will let you know once I hear back from them.

Since I have a new passport and my WP was issued with the old one, I added a cover letter explaining this and the copy of old passport along with other required docs. That's about it.

I think the PP# on your WP should match with the PP your are providing with application. Since mine were not matching I had to attach scanned copy of both old and new PP. Once CIC approves my application I will send new PP. I didn't attache any extra docs apart from that mentioned in checklist. Hope that helps.
