I am a Canadian citizen and I am engaged to ..... residing in Finland with a green card

I was planing to go to Finland to get married and then start his sponsorship application... But i want to get married in Canada with my family and friends , " is their a way i can bring him to Canada ONLY for the wedding and he can go back to Finland wait there until i can start his sponsorship application"?

There must be a way to get around this? Please Help!

ofcourse there is a way ...........

ask him to apply for temporary visitor visa and once he gets the visa just buy the air ticket and come to Canada !

Get married and he can go back to Finland so that you can start his sponsorship visa as per the rules and regulations.
