I hypothesis is that the scores are nearing to the tip of the normal curve (the scores must be in a normal or normal like curve)....the number of candidates with score near 470-450 is huge and it will take considerable time and draws for the score to cross the median score.....

Enter, in a few month, a whole bunch of pnp express entry applicants: people from alberta, like me, are screwed...

But all those candidates who were having scores of 469 & above has already been selected in the last draw... At least the cutoff should have dropped to 450 this time, as it happens in March/April draws..

May be the next draw could throw some light on the scores/applications pattern..

The system is inherently a bad design. There are clearly two groups here. There are two tips of the curve..one for people with nomination & LMIA, another for people without them....a better way would have been to separate the two types and limit number of PR from both groups- and two draws.....it would have been more intuitive, easier for people to track and less frustrating....

Oh my God!!! I'm at 462!!!!!!!!! :o :o :(

Feel bad for you. I can understand how it might be feeling to miss so narrowly.

Wishing you the best in the future.

You are right my friend.. They should learn something from the Australian PR system, which is more transparent system. They have tried to copy it but not fully.. Kind of it's still evolving out of the initial stage..

Disappointed. I'm 462...
