12 months of work required to sponsor ?

Hi Seniors,

I am new to Canada. Myself and wife have a PR. I have to sponsor my son.

The "IMM5481E" form states - Your net personal income for the 12-month period preceding the date of your application.
It asks for the Amount, 12-month period starting and ending period.

I got a decent job and will be starting the job on Aug 01 2014. After working for 1 month and getting the salary, can I apply for sponsoring my son ?

My question is: Should I be required to work for 1 year may be from Aug 01 2014 to Sep 30 2015, so that I can apply for sponsorship for my son ?

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor your son. You can go ahead and sponsor him now.

But 1 question of mine is still pending - In the "IMM5481E" form, what should I enter for the following fields:
Your net personal income for the 12-month period preceding the date of your application.
Amount,
12-month period starting and ending period.
