I saw this statement from OINP:
"All applicants must demonstrate at least 12 cumulative months of residence in Ontario in the past 24 months prior to the application submission date."
My question is I've been in Ontario since August, 2016 till now (Sept. 1, 2017), it's a consecutive residence period of 12 months and I have the proof documents for this time period. However I will not be here in Ontario for a few months in the near future and later will come back to Ontario and apply through the OINP. So this means there will be a "gap period" in which I am not physically in Ontario. Does my situation still satisfies the provision stated above?
