My gf's application reached on the 10th (first business day after the 8th). I hope she'll make it I don't want to wait another year for her to reapply.

Hi All aspiring immigrants from 1122 .....I would request all appicants of Aug 2011 to keep updating about the progress in the case ....As of now prayers are on at my end and I believe its the same with most of us ....After reading the members blog its not sure How the CIC is contributing and considering the applications towards the CAP? As some says if an individual has applied in first 3 weeks of Jul 2011 their applications will only fall under 500 CAP and some members have different opinion ....... God and CIC knows whose logic is correct ..... :-X : Anyway its rightly said by many members that WELCOME TO THE GAME OF PATIENCE

Guys! Just called the bank and our credit card was charged yesterday by Canada Immigration.
Our NOC is 1122 and application received on July 7th and by Gods grace CC charged on August 12th.

Hey Congrats Buddy !!! It means CIC is taking months time to get the CC/BD charged .....so we can hope for some positive result in 1st week of Sept ......Fingers Crossed ....and if your CC/BD is charged it means your 1st step is clear and your application has been accepted

BD Charged : Not Yet ( I have contacted my bank and they told me that there is no provision by which they can tell me that my BD has been charged or not. So How do I come to know about the BD charged or not ?

Can Anyone please enlighten me with their previous experience?

We have so many members in the forum and many have sent their applications on/before July 8th. While some have had their CC's debited, others who have also asked for payment via CC have not had their CC's debited.

Why?

Most of the applicants seem to be confident that they have sent their documentation in full.

Are some of the applications not accepted or rejected outright?
Why are other applications received between 4th July and 8th July - with CC payment - not charged as others?

Can someone advise?

As much i know, that at first instance they just check taht how many points you cliam...means u r making 67 or not & cap should not be reached for your category. if they find that you are claiming more than 67 points & Cap is not full then they will debit ur credit card or BD.

Second stage...completeness check...in that section, they check that Do you have supporting documents to the points you are claiming or not..& if yes, you have docs to support hwat yu r claiming. they will send you the file no & send your file to your visa office for further verfication & processing. then they will send you medical & ultimately VISA
