When did CIC start to send emails to applicants about returning appl. package?

Mine app. package has been returned twice as incomplete and they have never send me an email about that.

karanbindra applied before July 18th, so new checklist was not available to him yet.

karanbindra, sorry to hear about your case.
Please share with us all details of your documents which you sent, and send another email or fax to CIC with a note that they made a misteke if you are sure that everything was ok with your app. package.

Sad news to share and update the forum. I got an email revert saying my application was deemed incomplete and has been sent back on 29th July.

My application was received on 5th July and I believe the application was complete (I had multiple checks). I guess they are being really strict this time, and they have not even mentioned which part of the application was incomplete. I have written back asking this, but I'm not sure if I'll be getting a revert. Any senior members in the forum have a point of view on this?

Unlucky this time :( best of luck to the others waiting for CC's and BD's to be charged! Waiting for the seniors to revert

Dear Karan,

Sad to hear about this.

i wonder though: CIC never communicateds a decision by email. are you sure it was them who sent it? have you checked the sender email/domain??

mine was rejected once but we got only a letter.

my suggestion:
1. recheck your set of copy if you have it.
2. prepare a fresh set for 2012- aim to have it ready by 12/2011. have it checked by a immegration consultant (they have their faults, but their experience in document compilation minimises your chance of failiure.
choose a consultant after checking with their past clients about their service.
3. make sure your consultant couriers it on 27/06/2012 to reach on 2/07/2012 (first working day.)
keep monitoring CIC and forum updates. be on top of changes and developments in the migration policy.

good luck. most on this forum may end up applying with you in June 2012 (though i really hope we are all through this year)

Dear All,

Please guide.... my application was recieved by Mike on 22nd August at 10:30 AM and I saw that they updated their website at 2:00 PM i.e. 4 hours later. I know there is remote possibility of my making it into top 500. Now I am thinking of alternatives in case I get my papers back. Please let me know what is the quickest mode of getting to Canada --dream country of all of us. Here are some options:

1) I have found an employer .....
2) Other option with LMO is that after .....
3) My wife applies for study permit ...

Also I believe from processing times option 3 is quickest but is there any difference in processing times if apply in FSW Category 1 (we all have applied now) or FSW Category 2 (with LMO /AEO).

It would be really helpful if you can please guide me from your experience or knowledge. Many thanks

not an expert but here's what i know:

if you have an AEO for one of the 29 NOC then you can apply and your application will be accepted and expidited faster.
you can reapply this year even after the cap closes if you have an AEO.

LMO is part of the process of an AEO.

work permit: this allows you to go to canada but you are tied down to work for the particular employer. your family can join you in a few months and your spouse can get a work permit from Canada (i close friend of mine did it this way.

after your employment finishes you may have to return ulsess you have applied for your PR and received it before work permit expires.

suggestion:

if you have a genuine employment offer take it and move. stick with it until you get your PR.

seems luike you currently have a better chance than us. so go for it!

Now you can send and email and they tell the status of your application. Last year was not like that.

if you send them an email after 6 weeks asking the status of your application the will let you know.
In this case the application was incomplete.

Thanks Momad, Even in the mean time I am thinking that I take study permit and go for a MBA in Canada and my wife will then get a work permit. Ofcourse we have to use our savings / take study loan but atleast we will be in Canada - our dream country in 3-4 months time. What do you suggest?

no reply as yet. CIC teaches us patience

1) why have the papers ready as early as December 2011?
2) Wouldn't it be best to apply AFTER July 1, 2012 incase rules, applications, etc change?

PRIYAVIG GOT REPLY AS PER HER POST.

CAP CUT OFF DATE FOR 1122 IS 8TH JULY. MOST OF US ARE OUT OF THE LIST.

Just recieved a reply from cic after 11 days.

"Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 30 August 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached."

Guess everyone after the 8th should have no hope of their cc / bd being encashed. Process seems to be the same as last year.

Dear karanbindra84,

What could be your missing documents?

Are you single or married? did you put check/ NA on the boxes etc for your children?
how about IELTS?WORK docs?adaptability points from relats docs?
