Hi, can someone please help guide if the 10k limit to declare on arrival is per person if travelling as family or per family e.g. if family of two travelling so the limit is 10k each or 10k for both.
Please advice.

Others can comment as well but believe if travelling as a family with 10k or more then all amounts should be declared as a total for the family so is not per person if travelling as a family.

It is not a limit as such given you can bring as much in as you want just need to declare it if the family total is 10k or more made up of any currency.

As always if ever in doubt about anything always declare it to CBSA as saves a lot of problems.
