Netherlands.
The question is if im eligble for a permanent residence.
And if not, how a 6 months visa can be length.
The only 1095 day rule I know has to do with applying for Canadian citizenship, that is the required length of stay to be eligible with a 5 year period. This has nothing to do with your current concerns—you don’t have PR yet.

To apply for permanent residence, he must be eligible to sponsor you and you must have been common-law for at least 12 months. You can extend your stay in Canada by applying for an extension.

I believe since you’re from the Netherlands you just have to apply for eTA. Read up on eTA, spousal/common-law sponsorship, and extensions of stay on the website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship.html

Yeah i would like to stay a year to become a common law partner.
All i have to know is how i can expand the eTA to be eligble for this.

I already mentioned it in the post you quoted, but let me elucidate:

While you are in Canada, you have to apply for an extension of your visitor status just before your 6 months is up. It is a different process from the eTA entirely.

Are there conditions to extend my stay?
Is this suitable to become a canadian citizen after 1095 days?
It is allowed to extend your stay to work toward common law sponsorship as long as you can show enough funds to support your stay in Canada.

1095 includes 2 years’ time as a permanent resident. You are NOT a permanent resident yet in these conditions. There is a way to get your time as a visitor, before PR, counted towards 1095 (half a day counted).

As suggested above, you could look into IEC so that you can work in Canada. Again, those will count for half a day towards citizenship.

Enough funds, what does that mean?

Loads and loads of money, cause here in Canada, nothing ain't cheap. For family of 3 to survive in Ottawa/Gatineau area, it is expected to make at least $80.000 annually and that won't guarantee you any nice toys yet.

In your case you have to persuade the CBSA officer, that you don't need to go buskering in Byward's or work under the table just to allow yourself to have a double-double at Tim's.
