1 year PGWP

HI,

I fear i might only get an years work permit. So if i then gain an experience of an year and then apply for PR under CEC would that mean i would have to leave Canada and apply for PR from outside??

You can change your status to tourist and stay in Canada without working. If your employer is willing to obtain an LMO, then you can apply for a closed work permit and continue working.

It often very difficult to get the full year of work experience required for CEC if you only have a one year PGWP. You should take a longer course so that you qualify for a longer PGWP.
