Hi there,
I am currently on 1 year PGWP, full time employed (40hours/week) in a company based in B.C, NOC B job (Technical support representative).
My PGWP was approved on April 11th 2017 but I got the job above on May 29th 2017.
Meaning by the time my work permit expires, I will have just about 10 months work experience which is not enough to be elligible for CEC. I know the PGWP is not renewable so I am a bit worried about my future.
My plan A:
I talked about it to the management of my company and let them know that if they're willing to keep me, they could help me renew it through a program that exempts the employer from the evaluation of LMIA called the Francophone Mobility Program (I am fluently bilingual):
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/opinion/francophone.asp
My manager said they will take care of it but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so I need a plan B just in case.
My plan B:
I have none
. Which brings me here.
Any suggestion would be really appreciated.
