I have nearly one year of work experience outside Canada as a registered nurse, from August 30, 2022, to August 1, 2023. How does IRCC calculate one year of work experience? Can I apply with this amount of experience? I’m wondering if it makes any difference since nursing hours are usually structured differently.

my score is quite high for a health care related draw, but im not sure if i fall under 1 year of full time experience :/ does IRCC accepts applicants who complete the required hours within less than a full calendar year (mine is 11 months) , provided the work was continuous and met the minimum weekly hours ?

Short answer is no. You need to have 52 separate weeks where you worked at least 30 hours to claim a year of work experience. If you worked 50 hours or 90 hours in a single week, this still only counts as one week. You are still around four weeks short before you can claim a year.
