Can someone please give me some advice?

my husband was given a 1 year exclusion order in October 2015. Our sponsorship application was received by CIC in January 2017, a few months after the 1 year order had ended.

As per information online, he shouldn't have to complete an ARC, but is required to pay a $1500 fee for removal costs.

We are dealing with the Kingston, Jamaica VO. Everyone requires interviews through their office, and if successful, and all documents are order, they receive their visa on the spot the same day.

My concern, is that my husbands interview date has been scheduled, at which time they asked for us to provide proof of the RPRF among other documents (passport, etc)- but there has been no mention of the cost removal fee.

Does anyone have experience with an exclusion order that has passed the time of the ban? When did you pay your fees? Were you asked to pay for them?

The removal fee is applied to individuals who were removed at Canada's cost - meaning the Canadian government paid for the plane ticket to remove them from Canada. This typically happens with deportation orders - not exclusion orders. Did the Canadian government pay for your husband's flight ticket?

Can somebody help me please. I had recieved an exclusion order for a year for overstaying my study permit. I had applied for outland spouse sponsorship after coming back to India. My file has now reached New Delhi Visa office and they asked me to submit the reciept of 1500$ paid for removal costs when I paid for my own flight. What does this mean?
