Hello all,

I am currently gathering all the necesary documents and would like some advice on the folowing:

I have worked for XYZ Company from April 1st 2014 to October 15th 2014. I was then rehired 15 days later on November 1st 2014 under a different position and a different salary however my duties remained exactly the same and my boss was the same person.

The company has now closed down and I am going to receive an affidavit from my boss at the time. I was wondering if I could get 1 affidavit for both experiences stating the time frames and salaries for both positions at the company. While mantaining one list of duties for both experiences.

Any thoughts?

I think Affidavit should be ok along with personal letter stating your responsibilities, hours of work and salary should suffice. In any case are you getting everything on affidavit that should be ok too

However I'll still attach company records like offers letters payslips and promotion letter and/or any awards received with this affidavit

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have pay slips and job certificate for both positions.

I am still unclear on submitting 1 affidavit for 2 job positions at the same company. I am assuming I will be uploading this affidavit 2 times on the express entry website as I have listed both experiences at the company seperatly.

Will this be ok?

Since technically they were different positions make sure you get 2 reference letters.

Regarding the affidavit, as long as it refers back to both letters you should be fine by having one.

Cheers ;)

I got one reference letter for jobs I have done for same company as I was promoted.

I was at XYZ position in ABC company from Oct 2014 to March 2016

I was at PQR position in ABC company from April 2016 to Sep 2016.

Therefore I'll upload one reference letter in both positions

Do you think I should get two reference letters, but I was promoted within the same company? I just differentiated as they were different positions with same company?

Different positions, different salary, different benefits?

I think you should

If you don't want to make sure the reference letter states something like "John Smith held X position from Y to Z and A position for B to C" Also making a distinction between the different salaries and positions.

Cheers and +1 bro :)
