Hi guys,

I'm in a bit of a pickle with the application process and would love some advice from someone. I have about 3 yrs work experience in the IT field. The only problem is I don't fit into the 1 yr CONTINUOUS work experience bracket and fall short of it by 2 months. Since I worked for the same employer on and off for 2 and a half years, he understands the situation and is willing to write in a letter of reference that I worked for an extra two months there but the only problem is my tax returns for last year have already gone through and will not reflect this as my date of termination will be indicated and can easily be accessed through the English government. I am unclear what exactly the Canadian government requires in order to successfully process my application. If I include letters of reference, employment offer letter, performance letters, payslips, etc will they still ask for my tax returns for last year? Will the Canadian government check with the English government to verify that tax information and start/end date information is exactly correct?

Thanks guys

You need 1 year continuous if it wasn't continuous CHC will not count it.
