Guys,

I have applied for FSW under NOC 0213, Received my AOR f rom Sydney NS on 21st Oct 2009. Now I am preparing for the full application to be sent to CHC SINGAPORE.

I sent my application to Sydney NS with the summary points from my job experience letters (for all jobs including my previous job which was Job Title "Project Manager" and job responsibilties as summary points from the job experience letter.

Just to tell you guys all points i took from what i have on the experience letter. now i am thinking to request my previous employer for a reference letter (with all the same details) addressed to CHC SINGAPORE. My Question to you guys is this really required or not.

Why I am thinking is that I don't want to leave anything from myside. this is just a though, can you guys help me sort my mind query?

Of course you require the experience letter from your employer. Do you think that CIC/CHC will take your word for it?

PMM,

Thanks for your reply. Please read my first post carefully. To further explain, I have my joining letter and experience letter for Job NOC 0213, and I put the job responsibilities points in my application from the same experience letter. Now at the time of sending full application to Sydney NS should i only use

1. the same experience letter or
2. the same experience letter plus additional reference letter addredded to CHC SINGAPORE from that employer with same details/job responsibilities as on the experience letter.

Regards,
Pankaj

pankaj, use the same experience letter only if your employer doesn't give you a reference letter. if you are able to get a reference letter from them, then only the reference letter will be enough. no need to send that experience letter and reference letter both. also, its not necessary that the reference letter is addressed to CHC Singapore. something like "To Whom It May Concern" at the top of reference letter would suffice.

Thanks ja77

Well my previous employer can provide me any kind of reference letter if i ask for, but the thing is more or less it will have the same content. My existing experience letter is of type "To Whom It May Concern" with details of
my designation,
my employment period,
monthly salary (not annual salary package),
my role and responsibilities in the organization
and briefs of the technologies and concepts which i have worked on.

Please suggest?

Pankaj

well, in that case, i guess your current experience letter would be okay. unless, you want to ask your employer to issue you a reference letter only because that would be recently dated. though i am sure even sending an old dated letter wouldn't hurt. by the way, my reference letter also reflected the number of hours i work per week (i.e. 40 hours per week, in my case). so if you want to also have this "number of hours" information reflected in your letter, you can perhaps ask for a new one. but at the same time, i also think even if your letter doesn't reflect the number of hours worked per week, it shouldn't be a problem. so, the bottom line is that this is really your call and upto you :).

ja77,

thanks for your reply, in my experience letter it is mentioned as full time employment, so i think it should be fine.

Thanks for your help and advise,

Regards,
Pankaj
