My husband has Canadian citizenship ( his mother was Canadian, but he was born in the US and grew up in Canada.) Our kids (born and living in the US) were denied citizenship based on the 2009 law. With the recent court ruling on Lost Canadians that invalidated some or all of the 2009 law, has anyone successfully applied or reapplied for citizenship? I am not sure if we should apply again for our children or wait for any formal changes resulting from the court case.

i would wait because they haven't amended the Citizenship Act as yet.
