@legalfalcon does Counterfoil/Visa/WP validity expires on same day as when stay program expires? In that case whoever applied for 2 year work permit in between Jan to Mar 2020 last year will only get approximately 1 year validity if they get PPR now?

Better renew your passport before submitting application because visa validity will not be issued more than of passport validity. Also I think for Canada visa stamping passport should have atleast 6 months validity I'm not sure about other queries
