Medical exam is mandatory for SOWP. Also there was the option to give the upfront medical exam before applying. Wonder why did not your consultant suggest you that.

VFS update - the VFS passport submission webform will go online for all holders of Passport Request letters. Hopefully now they will start processing the applications.

True.. The applications are getting piled up. And they seem to not care at all. I wonder how they will be able to complete a one year backlog with the staff they have!

Maybe there are too many files to process along with the backlogs. Like student visa, all types of work permits, pr applications from India.

In my case it was updated in the GC account itself. And the same information I got in GCMs

There is no harm in applying for GCMS. But the additional information we come to know is the processing office and the current status which s already given in our account. I had applied on Feb 24th for the spouse visa and later applied on May for GCMS. I received the GCMS on June and All I got...

They say it's time taken to give the result for a completed application. But we can't trust the processing times. As many applications from last year have not got the result yet. It's happening randomly with no particular order I guess.

Hi did you get the mail from IRCC before submission? I have received tge approval in gckey account but didt receive any mail from IRCC for passport submission. However in the ppr request in gckey account it says to submit within 30 days. Can I go ahead and send the passport?
