Oath invite - 23rd September 2020 Oath ceremony - 02 October 2020 Now waiting for citizenship certificate to be mailed out. For those that applied for Canadian passport, how did you go about it?

Did you receive your invite through email or regular mail? My local MP said I was invited on 21 September but I haven't seen anything in the mail. I'm in Edmonton as well.

So I contacted my local MP and today they sent me a email that IRCC sent out a letter for virtual ceremony on the 21st September. The problem now is that I have not received any such letter either in the mail or through email. Does anyone know if they sent out invites through regular mail...

Has anyone ever contacted their member of parliament about expediting their oath ceremony or citizenship application? What was the result?

Did you write them using the webform before you got an invite? I'm in Edmonton too and I've emailed them on the web form twice about getting my invite urgently and no reply on both occasions. I even attached supporting documentation on why I need urgent processing. I passed my test back in Feb.

How long did it take to hear back from IRCC after you used the web form? I emailed them on there 2 days ago and haven't heard back?
