I went to Lawrence location, everytime I went 6 am and came out before 9.30. But people who came late stand in line until 2-3 pm to come out.

They don't respond to email, they reply only the sampark portal. You should be receiving soon as they have replied.

I can't answer whether BLS will reject it or not, but just today morning I submitted my application to BLS centre, they told me to bring a draft "The Consulate General of India" without Toronto. Infact I didnt took the draft upfront I thought I can pay by debit but they told me to bring a draft...

BLS didn't accept my OCI application due to marriage certificate not available, I have spouse name mentioned in both passports (Indian), still they are asking for it. At the time of my marriage I didn't registered it. Does anyone had similar issue and how it got resolved ?

Hi AKS@1987, do you have the CGI email id ? I may need it as my wife's surrender certificate is not yet received, its 5+ weeks now.

I submitted my wife's surrender application on Nov 26th, its past 5 weeks now, still the process shows "processing", do I need to wait till 8 weeks to complete or can I reach out to CGI ? is it a normal wait time ?

I applied for Surrender certificate on Nov 26th for me and family, I received today for me and kids and not for spouse, status it says processing at consulate, is it normal? have anyone experienced it ?
