NEED ADVICE URGENTLY Good afternoon guys, I am in a very tricky and urgent situation. I received the " Ready for visa" email. The problem is that they apparently didn't send me the procedure for people who already live in Canada (I moved on a work permit in 2021). Now this is where the...

Thank you for your answer. It took about 5 weeks total since I had most paperwork done for EE. I think it was Paris but I'm not sure. I did the biometrics in Paris so I guess that's what counts? I sent a web form there let's see.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all still sitting tight as the wait is LONG. I have moved from France to Canada two weeks ago on a work permit. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to change my address. They say to contact the Visa office for my region but I don't know which one it is? As...

Get the questionnaire's info after AOR

Hi, thanks for your answer! For me, it was all online not in forms. I am applying for a work permit and I thought they were gonna ask about all the travel and addresses history again. It was really tedious so I just wanted to use what I have already done since the info is the same.

Get the questionnaire's info after AOR

Good morning all, Is there a way to see the info we send in the questionnaire? Like travel and work history? I can only see the documents I sent.

Hi everyone! Do you know if we can access the info we sent after ITA? I would like to see the information I submitted for travel history as I may need to redo the whole process for a work permit and I want to be sure all dates are the same on both applications.

I hope it's accepted for you! Best case scenario is they just open borders for us again.

I also do! I have extended family and was also under the impression we could travel but I made a post about that on here, and it seems we still need a very valid reason and request for travel authorization.

Good morning everyone, Checking in with you all. I still haven't had any updates but Biometrics, estimation time was June so I am not ordering GCSM notes just now. I see that a lot of you are in a hurry to get your PR and I totally feel that! But for people who are outland applicants does it...

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

Okay I went a little further in the process and see where they ask you to justify travel now, so although it looks like it should be open to non-discretionary purposes I'd still need a very good valid reason to get approval.

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

I understand that I will need the authorization but as far as I looked on the form it doesn't really ask for the purpose of the trip so I wonder if they would just validate the entry as a tourist or if I'll be able to enter and confirm Permanent Residency, especially since my sibling is in...

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

It's the last sentence on this part of the site: " Extended family members of a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada’s Indian Act or permanent resident To be eligible, all of the following must apply: You’re an extended family member of a Canadian citizen, person registered under...

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

No I don't need to prove it's essential if it's for 15 days or more. If I get the authorization then I am allowed to travel and I would then be considered travel exempt. So my question is if I travel this way would I be able to come with CoPR or not since my sibling lives in Quebec. I am asking...

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

You can if you are travel exempted, which is what I am trying to find out.

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

I have no status presently but expected CoPR is June. That's where it's confusing because on the site it says only people who are planning to come for 15 days or less need to prove non-discretionary reasons for travel.

May have become exempt from travel restriction should I contact IRCC?

Good morning! My sibling just got Permanent Residency in Quebec. Although I am applying to go live in the anglophone part of the country (EE) am I considered travel exempt now? And if so should I send an email to notify IRCC. I don't want them to think that I want to live in Quebec but I read...

Can I renew my passport while PR is pending?

PR is estimated to be completed by june, but it could take much longer. I also read some people with AOR December who already got their PR approved and are outland. My passport expires in November 2022. There are other programs I am looking at that would need me to renew my passport. Can I do so...
