Just a question, Has CIC ever called your employer to confirm the employment while you are in Canada. My cousin is working here for last 5 months and her employer got a call from CIC to check up everything. Is it normal?

I got here in canada and working since dec 11, 2022. I wanted to know if i can get paid monthly, my contract says bi-weekly though. My employer said its easier for him to pay monthly instead bi-weekly. Would that be okay? Thank you.

It was received on July 20, It took 4 months to get passport request

JAN 2020 outside applicant, got passport submission request last Nov 16, passport submitted Nov 17, Passport received with visa Nov 21.

Yes its mandatory to get it done from passport centre. I sent webform first and then mailed all the physical copies to there address in Edmonton. For the PCC it was mentioned that the original needs to be sent to there office.

I am not sure why they asked but they are asking from many people. It was $515.

IRCC asked my cousin for biometrics, PCC (from passport centre), Medical, updated Background declaration form and family information form. And also right to permanent residency fees. She is January 2020 applicant from India. Any idea how long it takes after that ?

My cousin submitted her application in January 2020. Her employer received request to submit NOA, job letter and explanation letter on June 29th, When employer submitted the documents, the next day she got Biometrics, PCC and medical request which is on July 20th, 2022.

I wonder how long it takes after the language, physical presence and prohibitions are marked as complete. That's the last step before Oath.

Hi i have a question, When you check the status of your file. Does it say IRCC received the documents they requested for? Because we sent through web form too, but after many months it still says they have not received the requested forms.
