Finally, I have been released from shackles of IRCC . Got a notification that my passport has been dispatched to the visa application centre. What a wait that I never want to experience in my life with IRCC.. Now I know what it is like to be depressed, thanks to IRCC.

Is anyone able to sign into their GCkey account? I can’t get in!

All I can say is that it’s taking more than a month for IRCC to stamp visas and send back passports to applicants. However, some are lucky to get back their passports in two weeks after submission.

Another week has ended without any good news.

Yeah, I see that it took only a day to get it stamped and dispatched to VFS. I wonder what at all is holding our passports for long time.

So it took two weeks for me to get back the photocopy of my passport and medical request.

They didn’t give me the passport back, instead they sent me a photocopy of the biodata page with their stamp on it to use for the medicals.

Submitted mine in late December 2021, got a re-medical request which was done and submitted and approved in January 2022. Till date I have no idea what is going on and my dependent passport is being held for three months and counting.

It seems IRCC is trying to create backlog on passport submissions for visa. Unbelievable!!!

You never know, IRCC is highly unpredictable and so you might get your passport back before some of us. No one understands how they process their applications.

This is unbelievable and unacceptable! I wonder the how they work. I don’t know how I will cope with this situation.
