    COPR and coronavirus

Oh I will proceed to my final destination, alright. No problem there. I am a PNP and I have been working there for the last 7 years, so my house, my job and my stuff is there. But because Covid complicated my application (and literally thousands of others) I decided to leave Canada and wait...

    COPR and coronavirus

Thank you for your answer. I don't mind to quarantine again in Winnipeg upon my arrival. The point is that, for very personal reasons, I would like to stay in Toronto for a couple of weeks after the quarantine and then proceed to W. Does it say on the Quarantine Act that one should do their...

    COPR and coronavirus

Does anyone know if quarantine should be done at our final destination or it can be done at the POE?! My POE will be Toronto and my final destination is Winnipeg. I intend to quarantine in Toronto and after those 14 days do a road trip to Winnipeg. Is it feasible?!

January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Random question: Does anyone know if the COPR can be folded or not?! I noticed that the COPR is a somewhat unusual paper size. It's a very big piece of paper!... And no...I have not received it yet...... AR March 2019 AOR May 2019 Inland applicant and now outland.

Clarification on leaving Canada on implied status, re-entry during COVID19 pandemic.

I never stopped working until the day I traveled. I don't think you shouldn't travel based on the fear that it will jeopardize your WP application because, according to the Guide 5553, you can do so and that's what I did. But it's your call... You only have to start the application process inland.

Clarification on leaving Canada on implied status, re-entry during COVID19 pandemic.

Yes, they moved the application for the Visa Processing Center that covers my country because I had to tell them my whereabouts so they could contact me when needed. It took around 5 months, everything included: I applied inland on July 1st; left Canada on October 2nd and got the application...

Clarification on leaving Canada on implied status, re-entry during COVID19 pandemic.

No problem! My situation is a little bit similar to yours. I decided to travel to my home country while my BOWP was being processed but I was having the same doubts you had. After some research I came across the Guide 5553 and it was clear I could leave. I told IRCC, they moved my application to...

January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

We have the same timeline: AR March 17th 2019, AOR MAY 7th 2019. I also have outland dependents and my application is on hold since March 12th, when I got RFV email. Tired of not getting objective answers from IRCC, I waited until I could apply for a BOWP and then leave Canada to be with my...

Hi people, I applied for a BOWP on July 1st and today I got an ADR: - They are requesting a letter from province for provincial nominee: does anyone know what this is?! January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

I am inland. AR March 2019 No COPR and no updates since March 12th 2020, date since my application was approved on GCMS. Waiting is transversal to any applications. And still, there are outland applicants landing in Canada everyday. It is what it is.

This is a public forum, a place where people can exchange opinions, points of view or looking for advice regarding a common objective: Permanent Residency. Criticism to the system is part of the process and I really don't believe there's a "Big Brother" on these forums actively looking and...

January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

It has nothing to do with vaccine. Some outland applicants are continuously landing in Canada and they are not vaccinated against Covid. There has to be a different reason only IRCC knows.

January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hi @duster, I am in the same situation (DM March 12th, ECAS DM on the same day and DM reverted to In Process mid May) and my Work Permit was expiring on July 6th. Back in March, I thought I would never had to apply for a BOWP because I had time enough to be granted PR. As the time went by and...
