Hi, I applied in October 2020, received a temporary application number and I haven’t heard anything since then! I’m now in Canada with a work permit, but it would be nice to finally get the PR. Good luck!

I got my approval yesterday, I'm in BC right now and I don't want to wait 8 weeks for the A11EXAM. Any of you tried flagpoling? Is it allowed now with the Canadian border opening? Since you need a negative test for entering Canada, do you have to take one before flagpoling?

Yes, for some lucky reason I have the return flight after 2 months!

Italian passport, living in EU. I can enter the country without visa, only with ETA (which I have...). A lawyer suggested to go anyway, stay there as a visitor and eventually go to the land border in case I get my email confirmation. That might be an idea. Did anyone experience this?

We even paid for this! Their fee, plus all the papers which at this point I'm doubting they will still consider valid, after such a long time. For me doing the police certificates was painfully expensive, since I lived in three different countries...

How about the people who just got a temporary application number? Does it count as "arrived in our mail room" or just stuck in a limbo?
