A strange thing happened today! Office is Mississauga, only prohibitions was in progress which is completed today. Surprisingly, prohibitions is marked complete for my kid as well, but Language, physical presence, background are all in progress for him. I'm guessing someone over enthusiastically...

For my kids' application, the only update so far is the AOR date. Everything else except Oath is in progress. I was hoping that they'll update it by the time of my Oath.

I think it varies and don't worry much about it. GU shows some activity is happening behind the scenes and I'd be happy about it. I got a GU update in a day's gap a few times, couple of times almost a week.

looks like there is something. For me, Language and Physical presence were completed a month ago, background completed today, prohibitions still in progress. I've noticed that LPP is not together 'completed' for quite a few folks here.

So after the GU yesterday, Background shows completed as of today. Only Prohibitions in progress.

GU today, Mississauga office, waiting on BG and Prohibitions, application 28 Dec.

How do we check that? I know we need to look into some email id they provided, but do you know which one?

They asked for my fingerprints for every one of my application including citizenship

No, they are all in progress. I think its a good thing for you that BG is complete.

Mine is 15 Jan and I got the test invite just yesterday. IMO, don't worry about few days here and there.
