Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

Hi all, anyone have any idea how long PR Cards are taking to be printed from the Vancouver office? I skimmed back 10 pages but can't see anything related to Vancouver, apologies if it's already been mentioned

Nope, haven’t had any non-generic replies to web forms or CPC-Ottawa email in months.

Thank you! There does seem to be a lot more good news lately so hopefully the backlog is getting cleared up for you guys. Primary office was Ottawa, Secondary was Centralized Intake Office. I just got the default donotreply@cic.gc.ca email saying my CIC account had been updated and to check my...

Passport Delivered at CPC Ottawa and Waiting for COPR ----- come in here, keep each other updated.

It finally happened and i cannot believe it! I got the email this morning with CoPR and my online application has finally been changed to approved. (even though my GCMS notes told me it was approved in March...). I'm to send my photos and COPR to the Vancouver office so i'm not even sure why i...

Inland EE Applicant, waiting for 10 months now. Current Visa Expiring in 6 months.

I applied 6 weeks ago. You can leave Canada if you want to in implied status but you will struggle to get back in so it's generally avoided. You can get leave approval for special circumstances like family emergencies but i hope i won't have to do that

Inland EE Applicant, waiting for 10 months now. Current Visa Expiring in 6 months.

Yes it's been a year now since AOR, my GCMS notes say it was approved in March, so it only took 6 months technically, but i'm still waiting for finalization and CoPR. My profile hasn't been touched since March. I'm inland on implied status, no idea how long bridging visas are even taking to be...

Inland EE Applicant, waiting for 10 months now. Current Visa Expiring in 6 months.

You've got quite a while until your work visa expires, but yes within the 4 month mark you should apply for the bridging visa extension, surely your PR would be approved by then! I applied for my bridging visa about a month before my work visa expired. Been waiting for my PR for 12 months now...

Thanks Boris, this is helpful! I sent my documents around the exact time but still waiting for CoPR. Can i ask what stream you are? CEC, FSW, PNP? I'm very mindful to keep my phone on me because i don't want to miss that golden phonecall haha

    >>>>>>>NOVEMBER 2019 AOR<<<<<<< Join here

I also had to update them with my new passport number, they acknowledged they received it and said they would pass it on to the officer for my profile. There's nothing else you can do. Your profile will be updated when someone gets to opening yours, and not every time you tell them something. My...

    >>>>>>>OCTOBER 2019 AOR<<<<<<< Join here

I'm in a similar situation, FSW Inland, AOR September, PPR in March, PR Approved in March and still waiting for a CoPR. So frustrating knowing that my PR has been approved 5 months ago yet i just had to pay to extend my work permit

Nope i don't have an ASSOCIATIONS section, sorry. Yeah my last update date was March 10th, which was the day they emailed me a PPR and the notes at the end confirm this. Did you check your last note at the bottom? Note 1 should say what they last updated, or perhaps you updated your information...

Unfortunately i can't find that section (i've never been part of any organizations so i may not have anything like that on my application). I skimmed through it twice, though it is 185 pages so i may have missed it. My case notes haven't been updated since early March so i don't think anything...

Passport Delivered at CPC Ottawa and Waiting for COPR ----- come in here, keep each other updated.

So i finally got my first set of GCMS notes and all looks good, eligibility/criminality/medical all Passed, and Final: Approved. I got a PPR in March, sent to Ottawa. I never got the CoPR email. In my notes there's a FINALIZE APPLICATION section that says we have been assigned a COPR document...

Yes i'm an inland applicant therefore could get them for free. I've read that you can still request them if you are outland but have to pay a fee. There's a lot of third-party sites that you pay and they will order them for you, do some googling, a couple i found are 'https://www.getgcms.com/'...

Passport Delivered at CPC Ottawa and Waiting for COPR ----- come in here, keep each other updated.

You can request the GCMS notes for your application, it has all the latest status’ for each section that has been processed and may also have any case notes typed up by the case officers. It gives you a good indication to see if there are any red flags they have noted that you are yet to be...

Passport Delivered at CPC Ottawa and Waiting for COPR ----- come in here, keep each other updated.

I'm in the same boat as you. I got the "final request" PPR email in March and sent my docs to CPC Ottawa and haven't had any updates or changes to my profile since. I have also seen others who said their profile changed to 'Approved' before they got their PPR, or it changed after they sent their...

    SEPTEMBER 2019 - AOR

Wow can't believe how quickly some people here got their PR! I applied in September too, got the PPR in March 2020 and have been in limbo ever since

How do i actually apply for a BOWP?

Omg thank you guys so much! The video is great, and yeah i didn't know what the approved principle question meant exactly. This really should be more obvious, as someone who breezed through the PR process im surprised that the visa extension was so difficult for me to work out.
