Does it matter which Port of Entry you choose when landing in Canada? The Peace Bridge (Buffalo/Fort Erie) is closer to the City Destination on our COPR (Fort Erie) but it would be easier for us to cross at the Windsor Ambassador Bridge. Do you think we will have any difficulties? Thank you :)

We got the COPR letter emailed today! Does anyone know if they mail you the real copy or email it?

If you need to change the address that was listed on your application is it best to call or use the web form? I submitted the change via the web form at the beginning of july but haven't received any sort of confirmation that its been updated.

AOR1 received yesterday! Sept 16th application. Looks like they are sending more out again. Hang in there everyone.

Same here, sept 16th received and no news since. It's hard to see others moving along in the process but hopefully they will begin processing ours soon too. Try to stay positive it's all we can do now :)

Thank you! I used a similar app called Grasshopper and it works perfectly to call IRCC. Unfortunately it keeps telling me their lines are too busy and to call again later. They really make it impossible to get a hold of anyone!

*Update* I got through to ircc by using the app grasshopper to call. But now I can not get through the phone tree without it asking for an application number which I don't believe I have yet. I have not received AOR1 yet. If anyone has tips on how to navigate the phone tree and actually speak to...

Has anyone successfully called ircc from outside canada? Is there any way to trick the system into thinking you're calling from canada?

We tried calling IRCC yesterday to get a temporary number, and went through the phone menu options and when you select that you want to speak to someone about an application it just says "line unavailable" and hangs up. Has anyone else had this happen? Are we calling the wrong number ...

Sept 16th still no AOR, I might call this week to get a temporary file number. I'm starting to worry if my application arrived there ok. The post office said it was delivered but I still worry.
