Your SIN is a permanent SIN number, not a temporary one so there should be no concerns on their end that you are legally entitled to work. You PR card is not required for a job, it’s a travel document. I’ve never heard of a company asking for this kind of information....

Application arrived March 20th, began processing/decision made August 18th and card mailed August 20th.

Yes, AOR was sent by email. It looks like they started processing and made the decision the same day for ours (straight forward application).

You won't be able to find anything in the system until they start processing your application. We sent my husband's application March 13th (arrived March 20th) and got AOR on August 18th, which is when we could see it in the system. You are probably a week or two behind us.

Can you use your UCI and check application status? We were also not able to link my husbands but we did check the application status this morning and our card was also sent out yesterday and we are a couple weeks behind you so maybe your account has been updated to reflect this too?

We finally received AOR for by husbands renewal. His application was received on March 20, 2020 and we received AOR August 18th. I’ve never known it to mean just business days? The previous times we submitted renewal it followed the posted “days” timeline and was total days, not just business days. Have they specific somewhere that this is business days?
