    Quarantine Package seems expensive

Just find your own accommodation, there is no rules set by the Canadian government that prevents that. Yes your University "Covid Safety" person might tell you to do that to check some boxes but just arrive however you want as long as you follow the Canadian government guidelines.

    VFS Tracking states

The keyword here is "May" like they obviously have no idea so are just giving some vague amount of time to avoid pressure. They have your passport! This is a very important document it can't just sit in a box on a desk for a month waiting for someone to put a sticker on it.

    VFS Tracking states

Yes, they are giving very misleading notifications it seems. Apparently, the first notification they give "dispatched to the IRCC Office" could be very misleading as that could just mean they have sent it to another secondary VFS distribution center, and then from there, it goes to IRCC later...

Does anyone receive stage 2 approval after 9.15?

From my perspective, IRCC is a black hole. Study permit applications get sucked in with no return. Some people if they are lucky are praised with an "AIP" which grants them special permission to "study online", pay lots of tuition, and then get rejected at any time. At this point, I've lost hope...

Are you planning to enter with just this letter? The information on the IRCC website seems to prevent this Yes but it says "who have a valid study permit or were approved for a study permit on or before March 18, 2020"

How is IRCC expecting new international students for fall intake with mandatory in-person labs/classes to start?

I was accepted for my Chemistry Masters Program and applied for my Study Permit in February and have been given my AIP. The problem is it requires me to attend in-person labs starting this month. My University has given me a letter that states my classes/labs are mandatory and in-person. I've...
