Thanks for the response. I guess the risk though is that, being to a foreign address, the letter will take longer to arrive and my new job starts in about 20 working days time! So if the SIN hasn't arrived by then... I'm guessing it isn't something they'd tell me over the phone?

How would i know if my SIN application has been rejected? Do I have to wait for a letter in the post?
