So the CSQ doesn't always need to be approved for the work permit, because I got mine before. I meant yes after my CSQ was approved, after I received it myself (end of October 2020 / early November), the Quebec ministry didn't forward my CSQ to IRCC (federal) which apparently they are supposed...

I was never able to link my OWP application... only my PR one. I ended up calling IRCC at some point to ask about it, and they gave me my OWP application number. Still tried to link it, didn't work. So I just waited and it eventually came :)

Yeah, it definitely feels like that sometimes... Some people in October / November 2019 are still waiting for AIP, SA, DM, and COPR even though everything is fine.

I know they're processing a lot of Quebec Applications right now for the Economic class, so hopefully, we're next!

Yes they received them in January. I'm an early February applicant, so I'm getting impatient :D I feel like the closer to the end the longer it feels!!

Oh wow if it says DM, then you're basically just waiting for COPR! Nothing on my end since I passed the medical exam early january

I guess if you already had a work permit that was still valid when you sent your application, you're technically already in "Implicit status". But if you had a visitor visa or a permit that didn't allow you to work, I think you may have to wait until you get your OWP to start working
