Please keep this forum posted when you get your evaluation completed. They have kept my application in ‘Final review’ since almost a month. Thank you.

I understand SGVU is not there in WES list. but that’s not the final list, that’s just a list of universities they commonly approve. Although SGVU isn’t available in that list, my MBA and my friend’s PGDCA was evaluated. That’s why I am so sure.

I got my SGVU’s distance MBA evaluated. One of my friend’s distance PGDCA was also evaluated from SGVU. So, possibly BBA will also be evaluated.

When did you apply? When did your dicuments reach IQAS?

University sent soft copies on Jun 25th, Status changed to ‘In line for processing’ on 29th june. Status again changed to Assessing on July 3rd. Since then, no updates.

Mine was accepted and placed in line for processing. I got it sent directly from university email id. My evaluation is not complete yet, so not sure if they come back at a later point of time. I sent my hard copies too but they were delivered after my file was put in line for processing.

Yes. Both distance PGDCA and MBA are recognised from SGVU. But as with all non-IIM MBA from India, WES considers MBA as 1yr Diploma. So one might need to go through IQAS or other agencies to evaluate it as Masters. Note: Mention ‘Suresh Gyan Vihar University’ in your ECA applications. Not SGVU...

Hi- Are you saying WES did not recognize your distance MBA from SGVU as Masters or they did not recognize it at all? Meaning, did WES recognize it as ‘One year Post graduate diploma’ or ‘MBA from unrecognized institution’?

SGVU is listed under UGC-DEB approved list on website. That’s my only hope. Even WES says they refer to UGC for the same. So just waiting to get my evaluation done. When are you going to complete your degree?

Were you able to get your MBA from SGVU distance mode, recognized? Was it from WES itself or any other agency? Could you please share the timelines? What was the outcome from other agencies? Please add more information if applicable. Thank you.
