    ICT work permit from US

    I have been with my company for 5 years, but yes I got a study visa. Sadly my school (UBC) is doing our classes online and after this term we won't be considered essential as we have the option of studying outside the country. So ICT was my only means, really.

    Hi, Is Canada still approving ICT visas at POEs for US citizens? I haven't heard of one being declined but none being approved either. I'd much rather not wait for the ircc to process it online. Thanks.

    What POE? My lawyer wants to file for ICT permit online but if the borders are still approving them at POE I'd much rather just go there.

    Oh I see! So sorry. I'm on premed track and I will graduate within the 6 month time frame, but med school will be 4 years. So I wanted to get the visa now before my new program starts.

    I can attend school without a study permit, even the ircc says you may not need a study permit if you are to graduate before 6 months. So no, it wasn't approved. It was submitted April 28th and I started school may 4th, and I have a final the 24th. Thanks so much
