That's great news! I'm applying from Montreal as well. Did you have to provide proof of travel to request the urgent passport? Also, did you get an appointment easily to apply for the passport in person? Or did you just do a walk-in at a passport office? I'm still waiting for the certificate...

Thanks! I requested to get it as soon as possible. They said if I sent them my signed oath declaration immediately after the ceremony they could prioritize it, but otherwise, I would've needed to give them proof of travel to expedite the certificate. They didn't tell me how long I only mentioned...

Hi everyone! I had my citizenship ceremony yesterday on October 21! We were a little over 100 applicants there and it took approximately 2hours. Citizenship status was marked as Closed today October 22 on the tracker :) Now the wait begins to get the certificate in the mail. Good luck to everyone!
